At Memória BIT, we encourage everyone to leave comments. Discussion is what makes the internet an engaging tool, and reader participation is crucial for content creators.
However, to ensure a healthy exchange of ideas, some rules must be followed. Please read these guidelines before commenting on any article.
- No one has special privileges when comments are moderated—every comment that adheres to the rules has an equal chance of being displayed.
- Do not post comments solely to promote your work, URL, avatar, or anything else. Such behavior will result in comment rejection. Comments are meant for discussion.
- Do not post irrelevant links in comments. If in doubt, do not include the link. Any link deemed insignificant will be removed.
- Use understandable text. Comments with excessive abbreviations, emoticons, slang, or convoluted messages will be deleted or edited; the more errors, the higher the chance of removal.
- If you include images in your comment, they should be relevant to the content of Memória BIT and related to the discussion. Inappropriate images will be removed.
- Do not use the comments section to insult the site team, other commenters, other websites, or anyone else. Offensive comments are likely to be deleted or edited (the more offensive, the higher the chance).
- Comments that incite violence, intolerance, racism, or promote criminal activity will be removed, and the author’s available data may be reported to authorities if necessary.
- When making a critique, constructive arguments are welcome. Simply saying "That’s crap" and leaving is not considered an argument.
- Do not use the comments section for general questions unrelated to the article. Look for a more suitable article using the search function. If you can’t find one, contact us with suggestions, or use the forum.
- If you have a complaint that doesn't benefit other users, please do not post it in the comments, as it will be removed. Send a message through the contact page or by email. All messages, without exception, will be read and, if necessary, responded to.
- We use an anti-spam system to filter comments. Messages intercepted by this system will be removed without being read. To avoid being filtered, avoid suspicious practices in your comment.
- Email addresses used for commenting will not be reused, shared, sold, or disclosed. We will only contact you via email if we deem it necessary to address issues related to the comment. Data will be stored for security purposes.
- All types of comments are welcome, but if you leave a compliment and don’t receive a response, please don’t be offended; rest assured it was read and we sincerely appreciate your support. If you are providing negative feedback, try to make it constructive. Comments with the clear intention to offend or provoke may be rejected.
- Memória BIT moderates ALL comments before publication. If a comment violates the rules established here, it will be subject to the actions described on this page.
- The opinions expressed in comments are solely the responsibility of their authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the author, owner, or contributors of Memória BIT.
- By participating, you agree unconditionally to the policies outlined here and acknowledge that Memória BIT may display your comment on the site as deemed appropriate, for an indefinite period.
These policies may be changed without prior notice.
